Welcome to Waggy Tail Treats Co. These Terms of Service explain the rules for using our website and ordering from us. They form a legal contract between you and us, so please take a moment to read them.

By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our site.

Waggy Tail Treats Co is a trading name of Waggy Tail Treats Co Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales.

References to "we", "us" and "our" in these terms mean Waggy Tail Treats Co Ltd. References to "you" and "your" mean the person using our website or placing an order.

2. Using our website

You may use our website for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You agree that you won't:

  • Use our website in any way that breaks UK law
  • Copy, reproduce, or republish any content from our site without our permission
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
  • Use automated tools to scrape or interfere with our website
  • Submit false information when placing an order or signing up

We reserve the right to refuse service, suspend accounts, or cancel orders if we believe these terms have been breached.

3. Ordering from us

Placing an order

When you place an order on our website, you're making us an offer to buy the products in your cart. We'll send you an order confirmation email, but this is just to confirm we've received your order, not that we've accepted it.

Your order is accepted, and the contract between us is formed, when we send you a dispatch confirmation email letting you know your box is on its way.

Pricing and payment

All prices on our website are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.

We accept payment via the methods shown at checkout. Payment is taken at the point of order. If your payment fails, we'll let you know and your order won't be processed.

We do our best to ensure all prices are accurate, but if we spot a pricing error after you've placed an order, we'll contact you with the correct price and give you the option to proceed or cancel for a full refund.

Stock availability

All products are subject to availability. If a product becomes unavailable after you've ordered, we'll contact you to offer a substitute, a delayed dispatch, or a full refund.

Pre-orders

Products marked as pre-order are not yet in stock. The estimated dispatch date will be shown on the product page. By placing a pre-order, you agree that your card will be charged at the point of order, with dispatch following on or around the date specified.

If dispatch is significantly delayed beyond the estimated date, we'll contact you and you can choose to wait or cancel for a full refund.

Age restriction

Our products are dog treats, but you must be at least 18 years old to place an order through our website. By ordering, you confirm you're 18 or over.

4. Subscriptions

How subscriptions work

When you subscribe to a Waggy Tail Treats Co box, you authorise us to charge your saved payment method on a recurring monthly basis, and to dispatch a box to your delivery address on the same recurring schedule.

Your first subscription order is processed at the point of sign-up. Each subsequent order is processed approximately 30 days later, on the same date.

Subscription benefits

Active subscribers receive:

  • 10% off the standard retail price of their chosen box
  • Free Standard Shipping on every order
  • Priority access to new boxes and limited-edition launches

Managing your subscription

You can manage your subscription anytime from your account. You can:

  • Change your delivery date
  • Pause your subscription for a set period
  • Swap to a different box
  • Cancel your subscription

Cancelling

You can cancel anytime with no cancellation fee and no minimum subscription period.

  • Cancellations made before your next billing date will stop all future orders
  • Cancellations made after billing but before dispatch will be refunded in full
  • Cancellations made after dispatch will take effect from the following month

Failed payments

If your subscription payment fails, we'll automatically retry the charge over the following 7 days. If payment still fails, your subscription will be paused and we'll email you. You can update your payment method anytime from your account to resume your subscription.

Price changes

We may occasionally need to update our subscription prices. If we do, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email before any change applies to your subscription. You'll always have the option to cancel before the new price takes effect.

5. Delivery and returns

In summary:

  • Standard Shipping costs £3.99 (free on orders over £30 and on all subscription orders)
  • Express Shipping costs £6.99
  • We currently deliver across the UK only
  • Returns are accepted on unopened products within 14 days. Faulty or damaged items will be replaced or refunded
  • For food safety reasons, we can't accept returns on opened boxes

6. Our products

Suitability

Our products are designed for dogs aged 4 months or older, unless the product page specifies otherwise. Some chews are recommended for adult dogs only (6 months and over). Always check the product page and packaging before feeding.

Allergens and ingredients

Full ingredient lists and analytical constituents are printed on every individual product within your box. If your dog has known allergies or sensitivities, please check ingredient labels carefully before feeding. If you're unsure whether a product is suitable, contact us at info@waggytailtreatsco.com before ordering.

Safety guidance

Always supervise your dog when feeding treats and chews. Ensure fresh drinking water is available at all times. Remove any chew once it becomes small enough to swallow whole.

We are not liable for any harm or illness caused by misuse of our products, or by feeding products to dogs for whom they are not suitable (for example, feeding chews to puppies under the recommended age, or feeding products to dogs with known allergies).

If your dog has a serious or chronic health condition, please consult your vet before introducing new treats.

Variation in contents

Our boxes are seasonally curated, which means the exact contents may vary from box to box. Product images on our website are illustrative. We always ensure boxes meet the description and quality standards published on the product page.

7. Intellectual property

All content on our website (including logos, photographs, text, designs, and the Waggy Tail Treats Co name) is owned by us or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or redistribute any of our content without our prior written permission.

The Waggy Tail Treats Co name and logo are protected trademarks.

8. Your account

If you create an account on our website, you're responsible for keeping your login details safe and for any activity that happens under your account. If you think someone has accessed your account without your permission, please contact us immediately at info@waggytailtreatsco.com.

We may close or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

9. Promotions and discounts

From time to time we may run promotions, discounts, or offer voucher codes. Each promotion may have its own specific terms (for example, a minimum spend, an expiry date, or a one-use limit per customer). These will be shown clearly when the promotion is advertised.

Unless stated otherwise:

  • Voucher codes cannot be combined with other offers
  • Voucher codes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash
  • We reserve the right to withdraw or amend promotions at any time
  • Subscription discounts cannot be combined with one-off voucher codes unless specifically stated

10. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
  • Any matter for which it would be unlawful for us to exclude liability

Subject to the above, our total liability to you for any loss arising from your use of our website or products is limited to the price you paid for the relevant order.

We are not liable for:

  • Any indirect or consequential losses
  • Loss of profit, business, or opportunity
  • Issues caused by factors outside our reasonable control (for example, postal delays, extreme weather, supplier shortages, or system outages)

This doesn't affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Your statutory rights

These terms don't affect your statutory consumer rights under UK law, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms of Service. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy.

If we make significant changes, we'll let you know by email or by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of our website after changes means you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved by the courts of England and Wales, although you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your home nation within the UK.
